The International Suppliers Fair (IZB) at the Automotive Location of Wolfsburg

The IZB is Europe’s leading trade fair for the automotive supplier industry. It also acts as an international marketplace, exhibition and specialist congress for suppliers, subcontractors and the global automotive industry.

The marketplace for the automotive industry

The International Suppliers Fair (IZB) is Europe’s leading trade fair for the automotive supplier industry, showcasing the industry’s latest trends and innovations as an international marketplace. The IZB has now established itself as a major gathering for automotive supplier companies in line with its motto of “Connecting Car Competence”.


Supplier companies present their expertise and products

The IZB took place for the ninth time in the city of Wolfsburg in 2016. The main focus of the trade fair and its accompanying programme of events was the special topic of "Mobility Goes Digital". With around 800 exhibiting companies from 32 different countries, the IZB 2016 attracted 49.800 trade visitors from all over the world.

The event was held under the patronage of Stephan Weil, the Prime Minister of the German Federal State of Lower Saxony, Dr Francisco J. Garcia Sanz, a Member of the Board of Volkswagen AG, and Klaus Mohrs, the Mayor of the City of Wolfsburg.

The 10th IZB is from 16. - 18. October 2018.


The role played by Wolfsburg AG

Wolfsburg AG has been responsible for hosting the International Suppliers Fair since 2001 and in doing so, makes an important contribution towards the establishment of the Wolfsburg region as a prime location and centre of expertise for mobility both in Germany and on an international level.
