Expanding Cooperative Structures in Salzgitter with a Corporate Focus

Insufficient knowledge of structures and processes in the healthcare system and language and cultural barriers mean that in comparison with people with no migration background, migrants are making less use of preventive measures. A specific appeal to this target group is also often lacking in the field of corporate healthcare promotion. The measures being developed in the “Equal Access to Healthcare Services for Migrants – Expanding Cooperative Structures in Salzgitter with a Corporate Focus” (Gleichberechtigter Zugang zu Gesundheitsleistungen für Migranten - Aufbau von Kooperationsstrukturen in Salzgitter mit betrieblichem Fokus) project aim to make it easier for employees with a migration background and their families in Salzgitter and the local region to benefit from healthcare services.


The project is being funded through the European Social Fund (ESF).
